In a hard fought defensive battle, the Dallas Cowboys were able to muster enough offense and create enough defensive stops to beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 16-10.
With the Bucs continuing to fight until the last second and challenging the Cowboys on the kneel down at the end of the games, Dallas fought to maintain there lead after initially letting the Bucs take a lead after a 1st quarter interception.
Defense played a big part in the win, and the Cowboys were able to hold the Bucs to 75 rushing yards and only 110 in the air. And the linebacker Sean Lee was able to help but a nail into the heart of the Bucs, by getting a late 2nd half interception.
Defense was also where the Cowboys saw their biggest loss, by seeing Safety Barry Church go out in the 3rd Quarter with a torn Achilles. Church will have to go on Injured Reserves and the Cowboys continue to get thinner at safety.
