On Sunday, the Dallas Cowboys added QB Kellen Moore to the practice squad after he was waived by the Detroit Lions.
Kellen Moore has spent the last 3 seasons with the Lions and has played under Offensive Coordinator Scott Linehan. Moore could find himself competing with 2nd string QB Brandon Weeden if Tony Romo were to be injured. Moore holds the unofficial all-time record for wins by a starting quarterback in NCAA Divisions I with 50.
The Cowboys have also added QB Jameill Showers, however he has played a variety of positions including special teams.
Thank you to @Lions for an awesome few years! Will miss the people there but excited for the opportunity in Dallas!
